Spicy Roasted Cashews

Course: Appetizer, Side Dish

Ingredients

  • 400 g cashew nuts unsalted, unroasted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce I used Mic's Chilli - Inferno Sauce Original
  • 1 tbsp lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp date sugar or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tbsp oat flour
  • 1/2 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 160C/325F (fan settings).
  • Place the cashews with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and toss to combine.
  • Spread the cashews on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake, turning halfway, for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
  • Let the nuts cool completely before serving.

Notes

You can keep the nuts in an airtight container for up to one week.
